The Pastors Choir
The Gloryland Pastor's Choir was formed April 2008 by Pastor Cedric Hayes. The children of our church wanted to sing with the Mass Choir but their voices had not matured for the Mass choir. Pastor Hayes did not want to deny them the chance to use their gifts for God. So he founded The Gloryland Pastor's Choir, and from the start there was something special about them.
They are very anointed and gifted. Their sound is far beyond their age. By the way, the ages are from 4 to 18! They have a work ethic like an adult professional choir. Pastor Hayes gives them monthly challenges of very difficult songs to sing during our worship services. They met every one with surpassing excellence! This is not your average youth choir, once you have heard and seen them, they will leave you speechless! They have achieved many accomplishments.
They won The 2008 Shout Hallelujah Showcase “Choir of the Year”, performed at War Memorial Stadium for The Battle of the Bands,
They are traveling nation-wide spreading pure excitement about God where ever they go. They will appear on BET Bobby Jones Gospel on April 4, 2010.
